Udawalawa

Udawalawa is a small town situated in the southern part of the island that is spoken about for the Udawalawa National Park. This national park is a preserved natural home for hundreds of wild Asian elephants. You may arrange a Safari service to take you around the park. The town is also notable, because of the Uda Walawa Reservoir – the 3rd largest reservoir in the country, which plays an important role in generating huge volume of hydro-electric power.
